For the NSSICON QUIZ there will be an online round comprising of written multiple-choice questions. This competition is essentially for Neurosurgery students (first, second, third year) from Entire India. All teaching neurosurgery departments (MCH/DNB) across India will be included.

The following steps may be kindly be noted to participate.

  • Registration: It is mandatory to register for participation in the quiz which provides you with an unique passcode.
  • Participants should register on or before 11:00 PM, 26th January 2026.
  • For registration, log on (https://……….. /) to the follow the link displayed.
  • It is mandatory to register for participation in the quiz which provides you with a unique passcode & Username.
  • It will be mailed to your registered email id.

Nssicon Quiz Rounds:

NSSICON consist of two rounds:

  • Online Screening Round 2. Final Round

Online Screening round:

  • The online round comprises of 25 multiple-choice questions, which are timed and to be attempted in 15 minutes only. This online round will open from 9:00 AM, 15th January 26, till 11:00 PM, 26th January, 2026.

Rules for the Online Screening round:

  • Number of MCQs: 25
  • Time allotted: 15 minutes
  • Use of Laptop or Desktop is highly recommended over any mobile or tablet device.
  • Standard browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox & Apple Safari are recommended.
  • You can attempt the quiz anytime, while Elimination (online round) Round is open.
  • Once you begin the quiz you will not be allowed to re-attempt, even if you leave it midway. High bandwidth internet connectivity is best suited for a Quiz, ensuring the same shall remain solely, your responsibility.
  • Each correct answer will fetch you +4 points
  • There will be negative score of -1 for each wrong answer
  • If there is a tie in the Elimination Round score, time taken to complete the quiz will be considered (Fastest Finger First). If there is a tie even after the timings, seniority in the Neurosurgery course will be considered. If 2 tied participants have the same seniority, date of birth criteria will be considered (senior candidate will be given a higher position).
  • Top 10 scorers will move to Final Round at Bhubaneswar, Odisha

The winner’s name and prizes will be announced during the Felicitation Ceremony

Our 14th conference promises to continue this legacy with a meticulously curated scientific program that includes lectures, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and case-based sessions covering the entire spectrum of neurosurgery. Our focus is not only on the advancement of neurosurgical techniques but also on young neurosurgeons to take the lead in shaping the future of our specialty.
